The 2009 team will be the 91st team (88th varsity team) fielded at Bowling Green and will be coached by Danny Schmitz in his 19th season as Bowling Green's manager. The team will play their home games at Warren E. Steller Field on the Bowling Green campus in Bowling Green, Ohio. Shortstop Ryan Shay was recognized as one of the top seven shortstops in the country by Ping Baseball.
