His uncle Anton Josipovi was an Olympic winner in boxing, in Los Angeles 1984. In 1990. Aleksandar joins Ritam Muzika Pokret (Rhythm Music Pace) dancing club, in which he takes part in sport dancing contests until 2002. In the period from 1996 to 2002 he trains beginners in dancing. He also works with children and adolescents in war-affected Bosnia and Herzegovina . In 2002 Josipovi left Yugoslavia and moved to Paris. He became famous in Serbia and ex Yugoslavia after exclusive interview with famous internationally recognized journalist, presenter and television producer Mira Adanja Polak.. Aleksadar Josipovi was Master of Ceremonies on 53rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. (with partner Miss Marina Jeremi ) ( with formation Funky RMP ) ( as a soloist ) In 2007 a book Perje, pero i prasina (Pen, Feathers and Dust) written by his high school professor Ljiljana Paki, inspired by his life and work, is published in Serbia. The main character of this book is a young dancer from Serbia who was determined to conquer the world.
