The music video takes place in a theatre performing the "Bottle Pop" accompanied towards the end by male dancers. The song was performed on the Doll's Doll Domination Tour and on the annual Jingle Ball concert performing the same routine. Initially, the song was to be released as the third worldwide single. However, "I Hate This Part" gained significant airplay in United States at that time and succeeded "Bottle Pop" as the third single for the United States. "Bottle Pop" was released later than expected, on March 6, but only in Australia and New Zealand. It was not released in the United Kingdom as a single due to "Whatcha Think About That" gaining unexpected airplay.
