Produced by Fernando Garibay, Sean Garrett and Nicole Scherzinger it was initially chosen as the third worldwide single (fourth in United States and Canada) but was cancelled an was the fourth single in Oceania and Germany. The songs main idea is dancing. Snoop Dogg is featured only in the album's version while upon its release comes without Snoop Dogg's contribution. The song managed to peak at number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play, while it peaked at number seventeen in Australia and New Zealand. While in Belgium it peaked at number nine. The music video takes place in a theatre performing the "Bottle Pop" accompanied towards the end by male dancers. The song was performed on the Doll's Doll Domination Tour and on the annual Jingle Ball concert performing the same routine. Initially, the song was to be released as the third worldwide single. However, "I Hate This Part" gained significant airplay in United States at that time and succeeded "Bottle Pop" as the third single for the United States. "Bottle Pop" was released later than expected, on March 6, but only in Australia and New Zealand.
