It is one of the three commercial brands of the public society owned by the Basque Government, Eusko Trenbideak - Ferrocarriles Vascos. As the rest of the services of Eusko Trenbideak, EuskoTren and EuskoKargo, EuskoTran uses metric gauge rail tracks. EuskoTren is a commuter rail service and EuskoKargo manages cargo services.
