Ultraman History The protector of his species, Alien Mephilas was one of Alien Empera s four Heavenly Kings, or generals, in the Great Ultra War, though possibly for different reasons than the other three, and the most cunning and powerful. He came to Earth for similar reasons to Baltan, his home world was gone and his dieing species were desperate for a new one, possibly his motive for being a part of the Great Ultra War. Unlike the Baltan, his species were not the cause of this occurrence and he did not favor a full scale invasion to wipe out humanity. Still, to save his people, he saw no choice other than try to conquer the planet Earth. As opposed to just beginning his attack instantly as others had before, Mephilas chose to use a small show of force before launching his invasion. Before, he telepathically contacted a child, telling what he was about to do. He levitated a oil tanker into the middle of an air show somehow, then levitated the planes into space and blew up the tanker before capturing a car with Hayata, Fuji, and a young boy named Isamu inside. Content with this show of force, he ceased his assault there, allowing the show of power he d demonstrated to sink in before further measures were taken. The Science Patrol went into space to locate the missing aircraft, only to find them blasted to bit. They carried on and located the car but its occupants were gone, concerned, they kept on searching for their missing friends before finally returning to...
