A Change of Heart (Paperback)

In 2011, during a stress test at a local hospital in New Jersey, I was told I had a heart condition, which needed immediate attention . Without it I likely would not be around in a few years. Hoping to live longer, I accepted the advice and had a Catheterization done in early August . Heart surgery was prescribed and after consultation with the surgeon it was agreed that the operation would take place on August 25, 2011 . My main aortic valve was replaced with a tissue valve and a double by - pass was performed to allow better blood flow on the left - side of my heart. After a 6 day stay in the hospital, I was sent home, weak, but okay . Today as I think back I realize that I was given a second chance . I am much better than before and with my new improved health condition .............I had a CHANGE OF HEART ........
