Had never heard of Candy, but after some research discovered it's an Italian brand that's been around since the 1950s, but better known in the EU than here. Excellent value for the money. Feels solid. Fast spin, results in less dry time. I notice some reviewers complaining about the machine jumping violently... they've obviously forgotten to remove the transport bolts, which applies to any brand. Also it should go without saying, if you push it against another machine or wall it will make more noise. Front loaders tend to spin faster.
