Finding Soledad (Paperback)

This is an offbeat romantic story of an attractive, charismatic, charming university professor, writer, and guitarist whose dream is being in love. What love means to him was created early in his life, first by movie actress Linda Darnell's aura, and subsequently by Soledad Mitchell's aura, a classmate in junior high school. Soledad moved away the day after graduation and communication between them ceased. Nearing his mid-50s, with his offspring successfully grown and his career endeavors attained, he divorces his wife and goes searching for a woman who matches his dream. His search takes him to Asia, Europe, and to South, Central, and North America, where he has romantic relationships with numerous much-younger women he believes might fulfill his dream. Ultimately, they do not meet the measures of love created by Linda Darnell and Soledad, so he decides to search for the real Soledad.
