This CD-ROM presents interactive case studies drawn from real-life clinical practice on four psychiatric disorders that often pose unique nursing management challenges: paranoid schizophrenia in the acutely psychotic phase; acute withdrawal from alcohol dependence; borderline personality disorder; and anorexia nervosa. The case studies are sequentially developed to guide users stepwise through the comprehensive nursing process - etiology, current symptoms and DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria, assessment, care planning, interventions and evaluation of client progress.
