God only knows who actually wrote this book -- it's credited to "Chester K. Steele," but that's a pseudonym that the Stratemeyer Syndicate used for this series.

That doesn't sound like an overwhelming introduction, and it isn't -- but you know, we think there's something here -- we "like" this book, or we wouldn't be reissuing it most of a hundred years later. I mean, come on -- don't "you" want to know what lies inside the Mansion of Mystery? We sure did. And we found out.
