Euphoria Morning is the first solo album released by Chris Cornell. It was released September 21, 1999 through A&M Records. While a large success critically, it did not sell nearly as well as Cornell's albums with Soundgarden. It is Cornell's only album between the split of Soundgarden until he joined members of Rage Against the Machine in forming Audioslave. Can't Change Me was nominated for "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" at the 2000 Grammy Awards. During his 2007 solo tour, Cornell stated that Wave Goodbye was written as a tribute to Jeff Buckley, who drowned in 1997.
