In the course of the study, the author seeks to identify the nature of the European civil service and the nature of the public law principles developed by the Courts, as well as the difficulties inherent in the resolution of employment disputes by a strict judicial process. Consideration is given to the appellate jurisdiction and practice of the Court of Justice and there is reference to the relevant European literature.
