Out of Orbital finds the narrator Carl wandering the badlands and last resorts of Southern England where lurk vengeful artists, the dreaded Queen of Hearts Cult, flesh eaters and migratory horrors until finally he faces his own greatest and most terrible fear at Walton on Naze.
