Clemence Annie Housman (1861-1955) was a British author, illustrator and suffragette. She was the sister of Laurence Housman (1865- 1959), an English playwright, writer and illustrator, and Alfred Edward Housman (1859- 1936), usually known as A. E. Housman, an English poet and classical scholar. Clemence and Laurence studied art at the Lambert School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London, where she specialised in woodengravings. She wrote three novels: The Were-Wolf (1896), The Unknown Sea (1898) and The Life of Sir Aglovale de Gaul (1905).
