Daniel Bottom (2 October 1864 - 16 February 1937) was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire between 1891 and 1901 and for Nottinghamshire in 1899. Bottom was born in Whitwell, Derbyshire the son of John Bottom, a stonemason, and his wife Elizabeth. Bottom played his first game for Derbyshire in the 1891 season when the club was not accorded first class status, and played four games in the 1893 season. In the 1894 season, he played his debut first class match in a victorious game against Leicestershire but did not appear in the team again for four years until the 1898 season to make his debut in the County Championship in August.
