The Melancholy Dane Summer 2009 Issue (Electronic book text)

The Melancholy Dane Literary Review is an international movement based in New York City. Scores of writers from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia clamor to get their work onto the pages of The Melancholy Dane. In the end, only a handful of poems and short stories get past our editors' critical eyes. But the competition makes for what we feel is the greatest compendium of writing by young, contemporary writers around. The Review is divided into three sections: The City, The Country, and Bildungsroman.
