CPT - Electronic Data File: Network 2-10 Users, Short Description (Diskette, 2003 ed.)

CPT 2003 is available in an ASCII format data file on diskette and CD-ROM for importing into existing billing and claims reporting software. Select from the short, medium, or long procedural description ASCII files on diskette or purchase the complete CPT descriptor package ASCII files on CD-ROM.

The CD-ROM contains the 2003 CPT codes along with the short, medium, and long procedural descriptions.

Both the diskette and CD-ROM includes the list of CPT code modifiers from Appendix A of CPT 2003 and the complete text of the CPT guidelines from each section of the CPT book.

The CPT data files are provided in 80-byte, fixed-field format. Short and medium descriptor lengths are uppercase only. The long descriptor length is upper and lower case. Diskettes and CD-ROM contain data only. To properly use these data files, the user must load the file into software applications capable of reading text files.
