The few selected are of no particular interest, only going to snow that the early application of medicine on this principle is not without success. Still further observation and experience are necessary, to prescribe with accuracy. I trust what has already been said, will be sufficient to convince any one who is not familiar with the Homffiopath- ic literature, even of our own country, that the medicine is not inoperative. A recent interview with a physician of several years' experience, in a region where the science has made great progress, more than confirms all we shall say. In the country, and in acute diseases, we have a better opportunity to compare the two systems. In Epidemics of malignant Erysipelas, Typhus Fever, and Scarlet Fever, which had recently occured, the success was much in favor of the Homoeopathic practice.
