One Feather Makes a Friend (Paperback)

The story looks in on the Kattywampas Tribe of Indians who live in The Valley of Endless Breath. One Feather, a young Indian brave, follows the advise of his wise father (Chief Gazzilian Feathers) and makes a new friend. This story has a great leason about making wise decisions in the face of peer pressure. It is wonderfully illustrated and is readable from a Third Grade level. Due to the nature of the book and the many illustrations it also makes a great "read aloud" book for younger children.
