However, unbeknown to him, plans are already being made for the elder members of the family to retire and for the business to be sold. Amusing and entertaining, surprising and sometimes moving, Deejay’s account vividly captures one boy’s growing appreciation of the family history that preceded him and a growing understanding of his place in the world.
