Acting as detectives, children examine evidence from the 1940s and 1950s and the 18th century to develop an awareness of the past, and the ways in which it is different from the present. In the process they are introduced to the use of historical sources and oral evidence, to the skills of interpreting and comparing and and to the central processes of continuity and change.;This box includes 16 pupil recording and assessment books and a teacher's guide. Together with the "Families" box, it covers all the skills and content required at Key Stage 1.
