At least 30 - 40 percent cheaper to run as it consumes less power. Far quicker to achieve the desired temperature. The start-up time is reduced by 30 percent. No temperature fluctuations, maximising comfort level. No voltage peaks from the compressor. All inverter air conditioning are heat-pump which in itself is one of the most energy-efficient form heating and cooling.
Must be bought in conjunction with Defy Outdoor Inverter Air Conditioner (12000BTU | White) in order to work and be installed by the Defy Accredited Installer in order to validate the Warranty. Please contact them below:

"Defy Air Con" by Ray W. -
This is not a product issue but a Loot issue. I would wager that 98% of people looking to buy an air con want a matched compressor and evaporator. I.e. a complete unit and not half. Loot sells halves. A statement says there is a bundle but I'm buggered if I can find it. Loot please spare time and frustration and make it easier to find matching halves. As is I will look for a different brand elsewhere.
