In this book, I discuss the struggles that my family and I have had to endure in our life-long fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, one of nine types of M.D. (a group of genetic, degenerative diseases primarily affecting voluntary muscles.) What is really remarkable and noteworthy about my particular life story, is the fact that I became the third child in my family to contract this debilitating and degenerative disease.
