A Steel Buffalo (Book)

A Nez Perce story of mystery and intrigue. Jim Fox travels to Idaho to learn about a branch of the Nez Perce from whom he is descended. He discovers that these people are at odds with the owner of a paper mill which they say is polluting their lake. The local Nez Perce see him as a lost spirit who has returned to carry out the will of their hero, Chief Joseph. This is the tale of a local tyrant's plotting and scheming set against the forceful and courageous reactions of a man who has found his roots.
