Porfirio L pez Meza (born September 10, 1985 in San Jos, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican professional soccer player currently playing for Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer. Porfirio L pez began his career with Santos de Gu piles in Costa Rica. He made his debut with the club in 2006 and remained at the club for three seasons. He than joined Puntarenas and quickly established himself as the clubs starting left back. He moved to China and signed a contract with Dalian Shide in February 2010.
