The music, the fame, the drugs: & nbsp; The Eagles.& nbsp; There is no one better to recount the life of a true rockstar than the man who lived it himself.& nbsp; Don Felder joined Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner??'s three-year-old band in 1974.& nbsp; The years that followed- predominantly on the road touring- were filled with wild nights, memorable recording sessions, Grammy Awards, and international notoriety???along with the struggles between the rockstar lifestyle and the constant pull Felder felt to just settle down with his wife and kids.& nbsp; All of the men gave in to temptation- imbibing in everything from drugs to booze to women- and strong personalities and dispositions began to clash, slowly unraveling the thread that held the band together.& nbsp; The final blow came as creative differences between each member grew and was topped off by Don Henley??'s arrest for drug possession, and when Felder and Frey had to be physically restrained from assaulting each other at a political fundraiser.& nbsp; The competition, greed, and drugs had ultimately torn them apart, and the band split in 1980. & nbsp; In 1994, the Eagles famously defied Henley??'s notorious statement that the band would reunite only ???when hell freezes over, ??? when they regrouped and embarked on their aptly titled ???Hell Freezes Over??? tour.& nbsp; Continued musical success and chart topping hits led them to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.& nbsp; Henley, Frey, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B.
