Esther, Madonna, Morning Star (Paperback)

The ancients knew how to make a night sky enchanting. They give stars and constellations imaginative names. Wherever you looked it was poetry in motion; there was a tale to tell. . What could be done to return the buzz to the skies? Why not rename the planets after interesting people? Children would look up and learn history and astronomy all at once. I'm not suggesting anything I write should be read by children but years ago I decided to make a tentative list of new names of planets in honor of deserving people. All went well until I got to the planet I left to the end, the morning star. This planet personifies the feminine principle. Not only that but this is the planet of the carnival. The prophet Isaiah said when you feel the light of the morning star you feel the the greatest happiness a human can know, which he defined as looting. The Israelis imported their morning star from Babylonia, Ishtar, whose name they pronounce with a Hebrew drawl, Esther. The moment she arrived idolatry ceased in the land. Who gets the honor outside Israel? I was just interviewing candidates in my mind when in walked Madonna. Talk about Odysseus running up against the Sirens and there is only one of her. I had to hang on tight to my chair. To make the long story in the book short, she got the nod. But I'm a Pythagorean. I believe numbers underlie everything. If I don't find numbers I move on. What's in her wallet? as Alec Baldwin might ask. I read in an Israeli newspaper that Madonna was born on Aug. 16, 1959 in Bay City, Mich. I added the values of our names in English gematria, Ivry, 74, plus Madonna, 62, and added the number of life in this language 17 (see my blog on that number) for 153. I then divided that into the speed of light in km which is 299.793. The answer is 1959:4313. The year is there. To get the date itself I worked also with the spaces between 4314 which are 123; so 4 x 4 = 16, the day, and 3 + 1 + 1 + 3 = 8, the month. There is a 2 left over; that tells us where she was born. The square root of 2 is 14 14 21 36. Those 14s add up to 28 which is BAY and the rest adds up to 57 CITY. I read "Michigan" from right to left as in Hebrew, dropping the vowels as we do in Hebrew, and it makes a simple headline in Hebrew, translated: MORNING STAR IS THERE. You would think that the woman being honored as the morning star would be an exemplary character. It turns out that she is perfect, like a virgin. There was a typo in the newspaper and Madonna was actually born in 1958. She is thrice born: 1958, the material girl; 1959, the abstraction; and the Big Bang, when she was conceived -- otherwise her birth date would not be in the speed of light. What is the mechanism to get her up on the planet? Since we are not Vulcans a simple mind meld would not do the trick. At our primitive level the meld is complex, involving the entire body.
