Robert Turner thinks he's happy in his marriage and his life. OK, he might have to work at things a little with his wife Claire - try to balance the commitments of their home life with his commitments at work and at the gym, where he is good enough to box at pro level - but, on the whole, he is happy. And then strange things begin to happen. Claire's behaviour starts to concern him; arguments become frequent. She nearly has his dog put down. They work through their problems together and all seems well, but then, from out of nowhere, a truck ploughs into him when he is out driving and he is nearly killed.
