Many works have been written on scouting worldwide, but most of them were centered in a particular country or moment of history. This book explains in a very comprehensible and entertaining way the main findings of the first existing academic research on world scouting, the largest young movement in the planet. Using new data and storytelling, the work revisits how scouting started, showing its informal launching and its historical evolution throughout the twentieth century.
