And Joseph appointed it for a statute even to this day over the ground of Egypt, that a fifth should be for Pharaoh; only the ground of the priests theirs alone was not for Pharaoh. 27. And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen, and they had possession therein, and made themselves fruitful and multiplied exceedingly. 28.
