Faced with having to write a biology essay on the Galapagos tortoise, but itching for the semester to be over and Christmas break to arrive, author Emma Latheron procrastinated with all her heart. Eventually, she came up with an essay, although not anything she could actually submit to her professor - so she put it in her sister's stocking instead.
