There are currently two 'channels' "Great Lives" and "Remarkable People." "Great Lives" is dedicated to collecting for posterity the life stories of the great thinkers, creators and achievers of our time - acknowledged leaders in their field, whose work has influenced and changed our world. Examples of this collection include mathematician Michael Atiyah, physicist Hans Bethe, and pharmacologist James W. Black. "Remarkable People" contains a series of informal conversations recorded by documentary maker Christopher Sykes with people he finds fascinating and inspiring. This collection includes individuals such as literary editor and writer Diana Athill, neurobiologist Ben Barres, and entomologist Thomas Eisner.
