Memher of Superintending School Committee, Winthrop, 1889-9o, Buard of Registration, Gardiner, 1893-5; City Solicitor, Gardiner, 1894-5. Repuhlican. EMERV O. BEAN. Born, Readneld, Me., Sept. 1o, 1819. His parents were tMver and Patience Nickerson Bean. Edocated in Maine Wesleyan Seminary and Monmouth Academy. Married, Oct. 8, 1844, Eli2aheth Hunton Craig, and June 28, 1896, Georgia C. Nickerson. He has two sons, Nelson Shepard and Fred Emery. Admitted to Kennehec Bar, in Augusta, 1843, and has practiced his profession in Readfield since 1844. Memher of House of Representatives 185r, S'ate Senate 1856. Trustee of State College of Agriculture seven years, Judge of Prohate, Kennehec County, four years. Democrat. FRED EMERV BEANE. Son of Emery O. and Eli2aheth H. Beane, was horn in Readfield, Me, May 14, 1853. Edocated in Maine Wesleyan and Westhrook Seminaries, and Tufts College, class of 1875. Married in i876, Had four children, three now living. Admitted to Kennehec liar, 187'), U. S. Courts, 189o; practiced in Readfield from 1876 1o1879, since then in HallowelL Mayor of Hallowell, 189r, Citv Solicitor of Hallowell sixteen years.
