I drove for a company that had no way to send money to the driver for expenses and also had no right to haul anything in order to get the driver home. It was like night and day to drive for another company, whose policy on advance money was that they didnat care how much they sent because it wasnat their money. Stay with me while I take a year and a half off because of a back injury I received while unloading a trailer. After being released, I went to driving school buses and then charter buses for the next twelve years. I drove for four different companies, the last one being my own. After selling my buses, I went back to driving trucks until suffering a heart attack. I recovered from that and bought my own tractor and drove that with my son until I was declared disabled by my doctor. Since that time, I havenat been able to work.
