Marcus Haber is a Canadian soccer player currently on loan at St Johnstone from West Bromwich Albion where he plays as a striker. He previously played for Vancouver Whitecaps. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Haber attended Lord Kitchener Elementary and Lord Byng Secondary schools, and played club soccer for Dunbar SA from 1994 to 2002. In early 2006, he helped lead his local team the Vancouver Selects to a national championship. He played for the Whitecaps FC Reserves in the Pacific Coast Soccer League in 2006, and spent two seasons playing striker for the U-19 team of FC Groningen of the Dutch Eredivisie.
