A Cowboy's True Love (Paperback)

This story begins after Slim and Mary were married in the first book, "A Lonely Cowboy's Sunset." (A good love story.) A lot of people came visiting the ranch the following weeks and several brought gifts. One family, from a neighboring ranch, brought a pony that could have colts, if he wanted one, for the children that would be coming along. Mr. Spindle called a meeting and told all the ranch hands that the foreman was still foreman, but Slim Jones, his son-in-law who was beside him, would have the burden and the responsibility of the ranch from now on. Mr. Spindle was going to take his wife and they were going on a long train trip back east. He wanted to see what the eastern part of the world was like. He had been riding these plains since he was a young cowboy and now he could go somewhere and see something besides these plains for the rest of his life. Mr. Spindle said, "I am going east and taking my wife and riding a train. We want to see the big cities we have heard about and stay in some luxury hotels."
