Each plaU is described in full, and some of the most eminent men of the dny tare contributed to make the work complete. Thus in the number before us we find a ascription of the Megatherium by Professor Owen, and that of the vegetable wonder, the laafbtida plant, by Professor Balfour.'--Liverpool Courier. On the 1st of November will be published, Na. 17 (commencing Vol. Z/.), price 2s. 6d., containing I-Bu Fossil Gallery of the British Museum, with the Gigantic Irish Deer in the foreground.
