In this series Patty (Close) is revelling in glory after her triumph over billionaire Arthur Frobisher (Ted Danson). However, when a man from her past reappears, Daniel Purcell (William Hurt), she has a new action to contend with. Taking on a murder case for Daniel, it soon becomes apparent that it's much more complex than first thought and leads Patsy to the discovery of a far reaching conspiracy that implicates some very senior government officials.
