Compensation for Chronic Pain (Hardcover)

This report reviews the topic of compensation for chronic pain, in the light of the recommendations of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) task force on the management of pain-related disability, the subsequent policy debate and the resulting medical and legal challenges in Canada from 1987 to 2003. It has been written by an orthopaedic surgeon who now works as an independent consultant on disability policy to the UK Department for Work and Pensions.
