The Judith Durham Story - Colours of My Life (Paperback, New edition)

As lead singer of Australian pop and folk group The Seekers, Judith Durham was one of the most famous people in the music world in the mid-60ss. Through her solo career and lately the world tour of the reunited group, she maintains a sell out level of success as she enters her sixtieth year. More than a straightforward music biography, Judith tells the story of her ultimately tragic marriage to her fellow musician Ron Edgeworth and how amid the euphoria of her public life she lived with the knowledge that he was fatally ill with Motor Neurone Disease. Although Ron lost his battle against the disease in December 1994, he will always be, for Judith, a symbol of immense strength and courage. Since his death Judith has spent hours and days of her life dedicated to raising money to fight this illness and for this as much as her musical success she was rewarded in the Queen's New Year Honours List of 1995. Meantime her career has gone from strength to strength both in the UK and in Australia. She recently returned for a major UK tour and ended with a headlining gig at the Royal Festival Hall.
