At Westminster in the morrow of All Souls between John More, Adam Byrde, and Robert Crichepulle querents; and John Ronevyle and Alice his wife deforciants; for the manor of Alleston and the advowson of the free chapel of All Saints of Alleston (and land in Devon). John Bonevyle and Alice acknowledged the right of John More and they warranted for themselves and the heirs of Alice; for this John More gave them three hundred pounds sterling. tTartoug (i.e. uncerta(n) Countitg. 1I. At Westminster, 21 Edward IV., in the quinzaine of St. Hillary, between the lord the king himself querent; and William Kaylway and Joan his wife deforciants; for the manors of Ifeld (? Somerset), Wellys (? Somerset), and Cosyngton (? Somerset). William and Joan acknowledged the right of the king as by their gift and they warranted for themselves and the heirs of Joan; for this the king gave them three hundred and fifty marcs of silver.
