Motability - Report by the Comptroller and Auditor General (Paperback)

Disabled people in receipt of certain benefits from the Department of Social Security can make use of them to obtain personal transport on favourable terms through Motability, an independent charity. In this report the National Audit Office examined: whether the scheme meets the Department's objective in supporting it by offering terms to disabled people which represent value for money; how Motability monitor the quality of service provided by the scheme; and how the Department monitor Motability's activities against the conditions of the grant-in-aid they provide to the charity.
