I believe we cannot take them by the Bil1---in the first stage of the Bill at least; I am not lawyer enough to know whether it may be done afterwards. Suppose you cannot take that, where do you mean to have the depot? All along the side of the East gardens; by the side of the Leith and Newhaven depot. That would be here somewhere? In the East gardens. This where I have my finger is the East gardens? Yes. West of the little mound? Yes. What space shall you want there? If the depot is there, it may be made in the space perhaps of an acre, or from that to three acres, if we can get it. Is the Newhaven Railway made? No. Nor the depot made? They are negotiating for the purchase. The ground is not broken? No, it would have been, if I was not here. Are you the engineer for it? Yes. It tunnels under the greater part of the town? Yes.
