This is an edition of the "Register records Members' Interests as at 1 November 2005". The main purpose of the Register is to provide information of any pecuniary or other material benefit which an MP receives, which might reasonably be thought by others to influence his or her actions, speeches or votes in Parliament. Declarations can fall under any of ten headings: remunerated directorships; remunerated employment, office, profession etc.; clients; sponsorship, financial or material support; gifts, benefits and hospitality from a UK source; overseas visits; overseas benefits and gifts; land and property; registrable shareholdings; and miscellaneous or unremunerated interests.
