Mammography is especially used in the early detection of breast cancer. Mammogram breast cancer images have the ability to assist physicians in detecting breast cancer caused by cells abnormal growth.This study is an attempt to reduce false alarm in Breast cancer detection due to human errors by visual fatigue.The first step of the cancer signs detection should be a segmentation procedure able to distinguish masses and micro calcifications from background tissue. Detection of cancer from mammogram images is shown for clear understanding. In this book image processing functions, clustering techniques: K Means and Fuzzy C Means are well explained with examples and Matlab Programs and should be especially useful to beginner doing research on Medical Image Processing.
