When to Screen in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Paperback)

This work evaluates the benefits and limitations of screening tests in pregnant and non-pregnant women. Tests are evaluated in terms of: incidence/prevalance of target condition, conditions likely to be identified, validity of resulting measurements, implications of tests and cost-effectiveness. It is intended to be of help in the auditing of screening programmes in obstetrics and gynaecology, and all chapters are written to a standard template to ensure consistent organization of material throughout the book.
