David Thomas Syers is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bradford City. Born in Leeds, Syers attended Leeds Grammar School, representing the school at cricket. He attended the University of Leeds, where he read classics and represented the English Universities football team during the 2008-09 season. Syers started his career with Ossett Albion while still at school. After playing more than 150 games with Ossett, he moved to Harrogate Town in April 2009.
