Through the center entrance are seen the last two or three steps of the stairway leading down from above at right. The hall leads to the outside entrance of the house at left. Enter Foogi, running downstairs. She crosses the doorway C. and goes to open the front door. In response to an inquiry she is heard to say: No Ladee not home, not home. She bangs the door and runs back just as another loud cry from The Infant is heard, and the sound of something falling. It is The Infant tumbling downstairs.
