Harry Leon Wilson (1867-1939) was an American writer and editor of the humourous weekly Puck from 1896 to 1902. He wrote novels including: The Spenders: A Tale of the Third Generation (1902), The Lions of the Lord (1903), The Boss of Little Arcady (1905), Bunker Bean (1913), Ruggles of Red Gap (1915), Somewhere in Red Gap (1916), Ma Pettengill (1919), The Wrong Twin (1921), Merton of the Movies (1922), So This is Golf! (1923), Oh, Doctor! (1923) and Cousin Jane (1925). Moreover he wrote some other plays with Booth Tarkington such as The Man From Home (1892), The Gibson Upright (1919), Tweedles (1924) and How's Your Health? (1930).
