I did not expect a novel and prepared myself that it would be a script. Therefore this book was a fantastic read that I really enjoyed. A bit difficult to get into if you have never read a script, but as soon as you get over that your imagination takes flight and you can see in your mind what it looks like on stage. Completely understand why this cannot work as a novel. By far much better than I expected and a book that should be on any shelf!

The format of the book was as expected, however the story itself was very disappointing. It's difficult to believe that J.K. Rowling had anything to do with this script. I hope this story does not become cannon to the original series which I have been a fan of for almost 2 decades.

This is not a book as expected. This is the SCRIPT for a stage play. Not suitable for youngsters looking for the book to read.
